Nagambie HealthCare, located in the township of Nagambie, is 150kms north of Melbourne. Situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley in the Strathbogie Shire, the primary industries there are agriculture, horse breeding, community services, business and tourism. The Nagambie Hospital was commissioned as a Bush Nursing Hospital in 1929. It consisted of 15 acute hospital beds and an emergency stabilisation facility. It provided medical, midwifery & some surgical services as well as an emergency department.
In 1993, a 21-bed hostel was added, funded by the community, to provide low priced care nursing home accommodation for older people. Nagambie HealthCare became another happy RosterElf customer in 2014.
