Dataset FAQs

  • Yes — it is free under Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY 4.0). Use it in products, spreadsheets or research; just credit RosterElf with a link back to this page.
  • Five downloads: the full dataset as one JSON file, a per-classification CSV of pay rates, and three cross-award CSVs — a penalty rate matrix, junior and apprentice percentages, and allowances. Per-award JSON files are available too. Every file is generated from the same source as the on-site calculators, so they cannot drift apart.
  • Rates are refreshed each year after the Fair Work Commission's Annual Wage Review (effective the first full pay period on or after 1 July). Figures are derived from the Fair Work pay guides and match our award guides and calculators — indicative minimums only, so verify with Fair Work before paying wages.
