Upgrade your monthly subscription in RosterElf settings (Stripe)

This article explains how to upgrade your monthly subscription in RosterElf. You can switch between subscription tiers — Core, Full Suite, or HR Hub — at any time directly from your account settings. Upgrading your plan gives you access to additional features without needing to contact support.

RosterElf offers three monthly subscription tiers. Core includes rostering and time & attendance with payroll-ready timesheets. Full Suite adds payroll and HR tools in one system. HR Hub provides HR tools only, including onboarding, documents, and policies. You can review all plan options on the RosterElf pricing page.

In this guide, you will learn how to access your subscription settings and upgrade your monthly plan. Plan changes are prorated — you will receive credit for unused time on your current plan. You can also switch to annual billing at any time to save 30%, or update your billing details if your payment information changes.

1. Upgrade your monthly subscription in settings

This section explains how to upgrade your monthly subscription using your account settings in RosterElf. You will learn how to navigate to your subscription settings, select a new plan tier, and confirm the change through Stripe.

Upgrading your plan through the settings ensures your new subscription is applied immediately. Your billing will adjust on a prorated basis, so you are only charged for the difference from the date of the upgrade. Follow the steps below to upgrade your monthly subscription.

1.1 Upgrade your monthly subscription in RosterElf

1.1.1 Open RosterElf in your web browser.

Prorated billing:

When you upgrade your monthly subscription, changes are prorated. You will receive credit for any unused time on your current plan, and the new rate applies from the date of the upgrade. Your next invoice will reflect the updated plan cost.

Xero App Store subscribers:

Changes are prorated. You will receive credit for any unused time on your current plan, and the new plan rate will apply from the date of the upgrade. Your next invoice will reflect the updated plan.

5. Can I upgrade my monthly subscription and switch to annual billing at the same time?

6. Why can't I see the subscription settings option?

If you cannot see subscription settings, your subscription may be managed through the Xero App Store. Xero subscribers manage their billing directly through the Xero platform.

7. Can I downgrade my monthly subscription after upgrading?

Yes, you can change your subscription tier at any time from subscription settings. Press upgrade subscription, select the plan you want, and confirm by pressing switch plan.
