Accepted payment methods in RosterElf
RosterElf processes all subscription payments securely through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment platform. Depending on your location and invoice amount, several payment methods are available to choose from.
This article outlines every accepted payment method and any conditions that apply, including the eligibility requirements for BECS Direct Debit. To change your active payment method, see updating billing details in RosterElf. If you recently migrated from E-Way, see changing from E-Way to Stripe.
1. Accepted payment methods
The following thirteen payment methods are currently enabled through Stripe for RosterElf subscriptions. One additional method — Alipay — is coming soon.
1.1 Cards
Credit and debit cards are the primary payment method, available to all customers in all regions. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are all accepted.
To add or update a card, go to Account Overview → Subscription Settings → Billing Info. See updating your payment method for step-by-step instructions.
1.2 Apple pay
PayRequirements: Safari browser on a compatible Apple device with Apple Pay configured.
1.3 Google pay
PayRequirements: Chrome browser on a compatible device with Google Pay configured.
1.4 Link
LinkLink is Stripe's built-in digital wallet. It saves your payment details so future checkouts are faster. When you pay through Stripe for the first time, you may be offered the option to save your details with Link for quicker future payments.
Requirements: Available automatically at Stripe checkout — no separate setup required.

1.5 BECS direct debit
BECS (Bulk Electronic Clearing System) Direct Debit allows eligible Australian customers to pay directly from their bank account. This method applies only within a specific invoice amount range and is available to Australian bank accounts only.
Eligibility requirement
BECS Direct Debit is only available for invoices above $2,000 AUD and below $10,000 AUD. Invoices outside this range must be paid using a card (Visa, Mastercard, or Amex) or a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link). To view your invoices, see downloading invoices in RosterElf.
1.6 Afterpay / clearpay
AfterpayAfterpay lets you split your subscription payment into four interest-free fortnightly instalments. In the United Kingdom this service is branded as Clearpay — it is the same product with the same terms.
Requirements: Available at checkout when your billing address is in a supported region. No separate account setup required — Afterpay's approval process runs at checkout.
1.7 Klarna
KlarnaKlarna is a buy now, pay later service available to customers in all regions. It offers flexible payment options including pay in 4 interest-free instalments or pay in 30 days.
Requirements: Available at checkout automatically when Klarna is supported in your region. A Klarna account may be required depending on your country.
1.8 Zip
zipZip allows you to buy now and pay later in flexible instalments. Available for customers in Australia and the United States.
Requirements: Available at checkout when your billing address is in Australia or the United States. A Zip account is required — you can create one during checkout.
1.9 SEPA direct debit
SEPASEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) Direct Debit allows customers with a European bank account to pay directly from their account in euros. Available across the eurozone and wider SEPA region.
Eligibility requirement
SEPA Direct Debit is only available for invoices above €2,000 and below €16,000. Invoices outside this range must be paid using a card (Visa, Mastercard, or Amex) or a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link). You will need your IBAN to complete setup at checkout.
1.10 PayTo
PayToPayTo lets Australian customers authorise payments directly from their bank account in real time, using a PayID or BSB and account number. The agreement is approved once in your banking app and then reused for future invoices.
1.11 Alipay
AlipayAlipay customers can pay using their Alipay balance or a linked bank account. The payment is confirmed in the Alipay app at checkout.
1.12 Bacs direct debit
BACSBacs Direct Debit allows customers with a UK bank account to pay in pounds directly from that account. Setup requires your sort code and account number.
1.13 Pay by bank
Pay by BankPay by Bank sends you to your own online banking to approve the payment directly, with no card involved.
2. Coming soon
The following payment method is being enabled and is not yet available at checkout.
Cartes Bancaires
Coming soonCartes Bancaires is the French domestic card network. Once enabled, French customers will be able to pay with a CB card at checkout. French Visa and Mastercard cards are already accepted today.
