Guide to fixing RosterElf software issues

If you encounter issues while using RosterElf, follow these steps to help diagnose and resolve the problem. These actions will ensure you access the latest version of the software and can help resolve common browser-related issues.

1. Perform a hard reset

A hard reset clears your browser cache for RosterElf, ensuring the latest version loads. Refreshing with the standard refresh button won't work for this. Follow these steps for a hard refresh.

1.1 Hard reset in Google chrome

Windows: Press Ctrl + F5.

Mac: Press Cmd + Shift + R.

1.2 Hard reset in firefox

Windows: Press Ctrl + F5.

Mac: Press Cmd + Shift + R.

1.3 Hard reset in safari (Mac)

Press Cmd + Option + E to empty the cache.

Then, press Cmd + R to reload the page.

1.4 Hard reset in Microsoft edge

Press Ctrl + F5 on your keyboard.

2. Clear browsing data

Clearing browsing data removes saved data like cookies and history. This allows your browser to store fresh data the next time you use RosterElf. Be aware that this may log you out of websites.

2.1 Clear data in Google chrome

2.1.1 Click the three dots in the top right, select History, then History again.

2.1.2 Choose Clear browsing data.

2.1.3 Set the Time range to All time.

2.1.4 Go to the Advanced tab and ensure the first four options are checked.

2.1.5 Click Clear data, then restart Chrome.

2.2 Clear data in firefox

2.2.1 Click the three lines in the top right, select History, then Clear Recent History.

2.2.2 Set the Time range to clear to Everything.

2.2.3 Check the first four options, then click Clear Now.

2.2.4 Restart Firefox.

2.3 Clear data in safari (Mac)

2.3.1 Click History in the menu bar, then Clear History.

2.3.2 Select All history for the time range and click Clear History.

2.3.3 Restart Safari.

2.4 Clear data in Microsoft edge

2.4.1 Click the three dots in the top right and select Settings.

2.4.2 Go to Privacy, search, and services.

2.4.3 Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.

2.4.4 Choose All time and ensure the first four options are checked.

2.4.5 Click Clear now, then restart Edge.

RosterElf doesn't support Internet Explorer. Update to a supported browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge if you face issues.
