Qualifications and requirements
All scaffolders in Australia must hold a valid Scaffolding High Risk Work Licence issued by their state or territory WorkSafe authority. There are three levels: Basic Scaffolding (SB), Intermediate Scaffolding (SI), and Advanced Scaffolding (SA). Additionally, all construction workers require a Construction Induction Card (White Card).
