1. About these terms
Roster Elf Pty Ltd (ABN 67 164 843 609) ("RosterElf", "we", "our" or "us") runs promotional offers from time to time — discounts, credits, extended trials and similar. These Promotional Offer Terms and Conditions ("Offer Terms") apply to every such offer.
Each individual offer is described in the Schedule of offers at the end of this page, which sets out who that offer is open to, what it gives you, and the date and time it closes. Where the schedule entry for an offer says something different from these Offer Terms, the schedule entry applies to that offer.
These Offer Terms are additional to, and do not replace, our Terms and Conditions ("General Terms"), which continue to govern your subscription. If an offer is silent on something, the General Terms apply. Where these Offer Terms and the General Terms genuinely conflict on the subject of a promotional discount, these Offer Terms apply.
Taking up an offer means you accept these Offer Terms and the General Terms. If you do not accept them, do not redeem the offer.
2. Who can take up an offer
An offer is open only to the people described in its schedule entry. Unless that entry says otherwise:
- the offer is personal to the business the offer was sent to, and cannot be sold, transferred or assigned to anyone else;
- one redemption per business. A business may redeem a given offer once. Where more than one account is held by the same business, the same legal entity, or businesses under common ownership or control, they are treated as one business for this purpose;
- the offer is not available on an account that already holds a current paid subscription, unless the schedule entry expressly says it is;
- offers cannot be combined. Only one promotional offer may apply to an account at a time, and an offer cannot be applied on top of another discount, credit, partner rate or negotiated price; and
- starting a new free trial does not create fresh eligibility for an offer you have already redeemed, and does not extend a closing date.
We may decline or reverse a redemption where we reasonably believe an offer has been obtained through inaccurate information, duplicate or automated sign-ups, or any other attempt to obtain it more than once. If we do, we will tell you and explain why, and you will be charged the standard price from that point.
3. Redeeming an offer
To redeem an offer you must follow the method set out in its schedule entry — usually by starting a paid subscription through the link in the offer communication — before the offer closes. An offer has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other product.
A redemption takes effect when your paid subscription starts and your first payment is successfully processed. If your payment fails, the offer is not redeemed. You may try again while the offer is still open; you cannot redeem it after it has closed.
If we make a mistake in an offer communication — for example, a discount, price or date that is obviously wrong — we may correct it. Where you have already redeemed on the strength of the incorrect information, we will honour what you were told for the discount period described in that communication.
4. What the discount applies to
A percentage discount applies to your RosterElf subscription fees for the discount period stated in the schedule entry. It does not apply to any other amount, including implementation or onboarding services, third-party charges, or fees for any product we sell separately from the subscription.
How the discount amount is worked out. RosterElf is priced per user. Unless the schedule entry says otherwise, the discount is calculated on the number of active users on your account at the time you redeem the offer, and applies as a fixed amount to each invoice for the discount period. That means:
- users added after you redeem are charged at the standard rate and are not covered by the discount;
- if your user numbers fall below the number you had at redemption, the discount applied to an invoice will never be more than the percentage stated in the offer applied to that invoice — we do not carry a surplus forward, refund it, or credit it; and
- the discount is applied to the subscription fee before GST is calculated (see Prices and GST).
You can see the discount, the number of users it was calculated on, and the date it ends on each invoice and in your account.
5. What happens when the discount period ends
Your subscription continues automatically at the standard price when the discount period ends. It does not stop, and it does not need to be renewed by you. You will be charged the standard price for your plan and your user numbers at that time, using the payment method on your account, until you cancel.
Before you redeem, we will tell you the standard price that will apply and the date the discount period ends. That information appears in the offer communication and again at the point of redemption. It is also shown on your invoices and in your account throughout the discount period.
The standard price is the price published on our pricing page at the time the discount period ends. Under clause 3 of the General Terms we may change our prices from time to time; a promotional offer does not fix the standard price for any period beyond the discount period itself.
You can cancel at any time before the discount period ends, including immediately after redeeming, and you will not be charged the standard price. See the next clause.
6. Cancelling, refunds and changing plans
You can cancel a discounted subscription at any time, in the same way as any other subscription — in the WebApp, or by contacting us. Clause 17 of the General Terms applies: you keep access until the end of your current subscription period, and monthly subscribers are charged for the full billing month in which the cancellation falls.
A discount is not a refund and is not refundable. If you cancel during a discount period, we do not refund amounts already paid and we do not pay out the value of any remaining discount.
If you cancel a discounted annual subscription part-way through, we do not provide a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the term, except where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law or clause 3 of the General Terms.
If you cancel and later subscribe again, the standard price applies. The remainder of a discount period does not resume, and it cannot be paused or transferred to a later date.
If you change plan during a discount period, the discount continues to apply for the rest of that period as described in clause 4, calculated against your new plan.
7. Offer period and withdrawal
Each offer opens and closes on the dates and times set out in its schedule entry. Those times are in the timezone the entry states.
We will not extend an offer's closing date. Once an offer closes, it closes — a redemption attempted after that time will not be accepted, whatever the reason for the delay.
We will not withdraw an offer before its stated closing date, except where we are required to do so by law or to correct a material error in the offer. If that happens, we will publish the change on this page, and we will honour every redemption already made for the full discount period those customers were promised.
We may change these Offer Terms for future offers at any time by updating this page. A change to these Offer Terms does not affect an offer you have already redeemed; the version of these Offer Terms in force on the day you redeemed continues to apply to that offer.
8. Prices, GST and currency
Consistent with clause 3 of the General Terms, prices shown on our website are exclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). A percentage discount is applied to the GST-exclusive subscription fee, and GST is then calculated on the discounted amount and added where applicable for Australian businesses.
Unless stated otherwise in the schedule entry, all amounts are in Australian dollars. Prices are exclusive of all other taxes, levies and duties, and of any charge your bank or card issuer applies to the payment.
9. General
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Offer Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited as set out in the General Terms.
Communications. We send offer communications to people who have an existing relationship with RosterElf, such as a current or past account or free trial. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time using the link in any such message, or by contacting us. We handle your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel your subscription or any offer you have already redeemed, and we will still send you messages about your account and billing.
Governing law. These Offer Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, consistent with the General Terms. Each party irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
Questions. If anything here is unclear, contact us before you redeem an offer.
10. Schedule of offers
Each offer we run is recorded below and stays on this page after it closes, so that the terms that applied to it remain available to the customers who took it up.
Welcome-back 50% offer (October 2026)
- Offer
- 50% off your RosterElf Full Suite subscription fees for either your first month, or your first 12 months — your choice at the time you redeem. The discount is calculated on the number of active users on your account when you redeem, as described in clause 4.
- Open to
- Businesses that previously started a RosterElf free trial which has since ended, that do not currently hold a paid RosterElf subscription, and that received the offer communication directly from us. One redemption per business.
- How to redeem
- Start a paid Full Suite subscription and enter the promotional code supplied in your offer email.
- Closes
- 11:59pm AWST on Saturday 31 October 2026. This closing date will not be extended.
- Changing plan
- This offer is for Full Suite only. If you move from Full Suite to another plan during the discount period, the discount ends on the date of the change and the new plan is charged at its standard price. For this offer, this replaces what clause 6 says about changing plan.
- After the discount
- Your subscription continues automatically at the standard price published on our pricing page, charged to your payment method, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time.
