Yes. RosterElf automatically interprets modern awards based on the rules you set up in pay templates. Once a template is configured with the correct ordinary hours, overtime, penalties and allowances, RosterElf applies those rules to every shift and payroll export.
That means even complex awards or enterprise agreements are simple to manage — set them up once, and RosterElf does the rest. If your award is supported, you can skip manual setup entirely and activate a ready-made award template in a few clicks.
How award interpretation works
RosterElf uses pay templates to automatically interpret awards. Once the rules are set, the system delivers:

Payroll integration
Once your templates are set, RosterElf award interpretation flows directly into payroll:

If awards or agreements change, simply update the template. RosterElf will continue applying the new rules automatically.
