Open the app and tap on the Roster tab. You'll see your shifts displayed in daily, weekly, or monthly views. Each shift shows the date, time, location, and any notes from your manager.

You can switch between views by tapping the view options at the top of the screen.

Enable push notifications in the app settings. You'll receive instant alerts when:

• New shifts are added to your roster
• Shift times or locations change
• Shifts are removed
• Shift swap requests are approved or declined

You can customize which notifications you receive in Settings > Notifications.

Yes, tap on any shift to see full details including which team members are scheduled to work alongside you. This helps you coordinate tasks and know who to expect on your shift.

The shift details also show the location, break times, and any special notes from your manager.

You can see as far ahead as your manager has published rosters. Most businesses publish rosters 1-4 weeks in advance. The app shows all published shifts with no limit on how far ahead you can view.

If you need to know your schedule further ahead, speak with your manager about their roster publishing schedule.

If you can't work a shift, you have several options:

• Request a shift swap: Offer your shift to team members through the shift swap feature
• Submit leave: If you need time off, submit a leave request
• Update availability: Mark times you're unavailable using availability management
• Contact your manager: Use the chat feature to discuss the situation

Open the app when you arrive at work and tap the Clock In button on the home screen. The app will verify your location using GPS to confirm you're at the right workplace.

Once confirmed, your shift starts and the timer begins. You'll see your elapsed time displayed throughout your shift.

GPS location verification prevents "buddy punching" (someone else clocking in for you) and ensures you're at the correct work location before you clock in.

Your location is only checked when you clock in or out—the app doesn't track your location at other times. Location data is used solely for time tracking verification and to comply with Fair Work regulations.

Yes, tap the Break button when you start your break, and tap End Break when you return. The app automatically deducts break time from your total hours worked.

Your timesheet shows both worked hours and break durations to ensure accurate pay calculations.

Contact your manager as soon as you realize. They can manually adjust your clock-out time in the system. Most managers can see when employees have forgotten to clock out and will often fix this automatically.

Try to develop a habit of clocking out immediately when you finish—you can set a reminder in the app to help remember.

Tap on the Timesheet tab to see all your clock-in and clock-out times. You can view daily, weekly, or pay period summaries showing:

• Total hours worked
• Break time taken
• Individual shift start and finish times
• Which shifts are pending approval

This helps you track your hours and verify your pay is correct.

Tap the Leave tab, then tap Request Leave. Select the type of leave (annual leave, sick leave, etc.), choose your dates, and add any notes. Submit the request and you'll get a notification when it's approved or declined.

You can see the status of all your leave requests in the Leave tab.

Approval time depends on your workplace's processes and your manager's availability. Many managers enable push notifications and respond within a few hours. For planned leave, submit requests well in advance to give your manager time to arrange coverage.

Yes, the Leave tab shows your current balances for all leave types including annual leave, sick leave, and any other entitlements. This helps you plan time off and know what you have available.

Balances update automatically as you accrue leave and when approved leave is taken.

Tap the Availability tab to set your regular availability. Mark which days and times you're available to work, and when you're unavailable.

Your manager sees your availability when creating future rosters. Update your availability as soon as your circumstances change to avoid being scheduled when you can't work.

Yes, approved leave automatically appears in your roster view. You'll see it marked clearly so you know which days you have off. This prevents confusion and helps you plan around your approved time off.

If your leave is declined, it won't appear in your roster and you'll remain scheduled for regular shifts.

Tap the Chat tab to see all your conversations. You can send direct messages to individual team members or participate in team channels. Type your message and tap send—it works just like any messaging app.

You'll get notifications when someone messages you (if enabled in settings).

Yes, if your employer has enabled shift swaps. Tap on a shift you want to swap, then tap Offer Shift. Select which team members can see the offer, and they'll receive a notification. When someone accepts, your manager gets a notification to approve the swap.

Once approved, the shift automatically updates in both rosters.

Go to Settings > Notifications to customize your message alerts. You can:

• Enable or disable message notifications
• Set quiet hours so you're not disturbed outside work
• Choose between sound, vibration, or silent notifications
• Turn off notifications for specific channels

Managers can see messages in team channels that they're part of, but not private direct messages between employees unless they're included in the conversation.

The chat feature is designed for work-related communication. Your employer may have policies about appropriate use—check your workplace guidelines.

When you offer a shift for swap, eligible team members see the offer and can accept it. Once accepted, the swap goes to your manager for approval. Your manager can approve or decline based on qualifications, hours, and business needs.

Both you and the accepting employee get notifications at each stage. If approved, the roster updates automatically for both of you.
