How can I review employee leave requests?

With RosterElf, your employees can request leave which is then sent as a notification to managers via email where they can review the information and if needed decline the application.

For managers, the dashboard provides a overview of all pending and archived leave requests from employees. This provides a great way for managers to keep on top of leave requests.

We recommend managers review leave requests each time they login to ensure they are up to date with applications.

Once leave is accepted, the employee will automatically be flagged as "on leave" when rostering so there is no change employers can accidentally roster someone who is on approved leave.

How to View Leave Request Information

Simply click on any leave request application on your dashboard and a window with details of the leave application will appear as per example below.

To decline the applications, managers simply need to click the "Deny" button on the bottom left hand corner.

How to View Archived Leave

From the dashboard managers can view archived leave applications made by employees but click the "Archived" tab on the top right.

This will display a list of leave applications in the past that have been made by employees.
